PRESIDENT`S REPORT
It had been arranged to have a speaker this morning but unfortunately Sylvia Tatnell was unable to attend. However Helen Chapman, our Care coordinator, who also works for Help, will give us a resume of the work undertaken by the organisation.
Prue informed us that Sharon Taylor, our Newsletter editor, was recovering after her hip operation. We have had a response from a member who is interested in taking over the role as Newsletter editor. There are still vacancies on the committee for Groups coordinator and Deputy secretary. Shirley Tuckey and Margaret Roberts, both past committee members, are leaving Spain to return to the U.K. Margaret and her late husband Don, were original members of the U3A. Margaret was secretary and Don was past president. We would like to thank them for all their work with the U3A and wish them every success in the future.
