The next Egyptology meeting (and the last before the summer break) will be next Monday 19 June at La Senieta, starting at 10:30 as usual. The subject is ‘The Lords of Avarice: Legendary Merchant Kings of the Eastern Mediterranean’ which deals with the Hyksos rulers of Avaris in the late Middle Bronze Age and how they make an appearance in Greek legend.
