Caterpillars and beetles.
Please be on the lookout for these two harmful insects. Do not touch the caterpillars. The hairs on the outside of their bodies are very poisonous (even when they are dead!). They can kill domestic pets and seriously affect humans. There is lots of information about them on the internet.
The beetles are still destroying the palm trees. Please check your property and treat the pine trees and palms. You have a responsibility to do so under Spanish law.
