As previously announced, it has been decided by the Committee that those holding fully paid-up membership of our U3A in 2023 will pay just €10 to renew their membership for the following two years – i.e. 2024 and 2025 – with nothing more to pay until 2026. New and lapsed members would continue to pay €10 for 1 year.
Membership renewals can be paid by bank transfer or in cash. Those wanting to pay cash have three opportunities to do so – see below.
Payment by Bank Transfer
Please note: When paying by Bank Transfer it is essential that you include all Surname(s) and Membership Numbers(s) in the Payment reference/description. The Membership Secretary is dealing with hundreds of renewals at this time of year and without this key information it may be impossible to match your payment to your membership details and you will not receive your renewal eCard.

Once we have received your payment, your membership card will be sent to you by e-mail.
Renewals paid by bank transfer will be processed in batches. If you haven’t received your membership card after 2 weeks of making your transfer, please contact the membership secretary, Pat Clarke.

Payment in Cash
If you are unable to pay your membership fee by Bank Transfer, there wlll be the three following opportuniities for you to pay in cash:
- Thursday, 18th January 2024 at La Senieta, Moraira. Doors open from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. We have recently been informed by the Ayuntamiento that the theatre is no longer available for us to use, so we will now be in Aula 1, which is the first room on the left on the first floor.
- Monday, 5th February 2024 at the General Meeting in Teulada. Desks will be open from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
- Monday, 4th March 2024 at the Annual General Meeting in Teulada. Desks open from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
When renewing by this method, you will be asked to provide your name and membership number. Please ensure that you join the correct queue as the desks will deal with renewals alphabetically by surname. You will be given a receipt for your payment and your new membership card will be sent to you by e-mail shortly after your renewal has been processed.
If you are renewing on behalf of friends, please ensure that you have their full details, including membership numbers.
We currently have a few existing members who do not have e-mail addresses. These members should renew at one of the above meetings and an old-style card will be issued to them.
