A visit to the Museum and a Six Course Lunch in the Restaurant with Unlimited Organic Red Wine

Maserof, set high in the Sierra Bernia mountains, is crammed with antiques and relics from a bygone age. It is surrounded by farms and the vineyards from which the splendid Maserof wine is produced. The wine today is still produced using the ancient traditions.

Leaving Moraira at around 09:30, we will stop for a coffee in Jalon en route. On arrival at Maserof, we will sample the wine and visit the museum to see ancient farming equipment and relics. There will be time to look around and take photos inside and out.

In the restaurant, we will be dining at ancient oak tables, eating off antique plates and using antique cutlery and wine glasses.




As there is no electricity, all the fresh food is cooked in a wood burning oven. There is no choice of menu; you just have to eat what is cooked on the day you go, therefore it is not suitable for people needing special diets. The menus are innovative and the food is very good.

After the meal there will be live music and you can dance if you like.

The host and cook, Carolina, makes this a special occasion to remember.
