On 6 July 2018, the NHS celebrated its 70th birthday. What kind of future can it look forward ? Can it continue to provide services in the way that it has or is it time for a radical re-think? Should we all be taking more responsibility for promoting our own health? Should certain treatments be refused to smokers and heavy drinkers? How do we ration finite services when the demand is potentially infinite? Should there be charges for some services?
Please join us on Thursday 11 October at 14:00 (note new meeting day and time) at the Aula, Calle Dr Calatayud, 45 Moraira. After the meeting, we shall be adjourning to a local cafe for (healthy?) drinks and snacks.
