DESCRIPTION:Munich – 5 days\, 4 nights – Saturday 29th November to Wednesday 3rd December \n\n\n\nA fantastic opportunity to visit this iconic city in southern Germany with its many historic buildings and internationally acclaimed museums\, and also to enjoy the famous Christmas Market. \n\n\n\nDay 1: Travel by coach from Moraira to Valencia for the 6:20pm flight to Munich arriving at 8:45pm for the transfer to the 4-star Hotel Vi Vadi in downtown Munich\, just in time for a late evening drink! \n\n\n\nDays 2 to 4: Entirely as you please\, perhaps starting with the hop-on hop-off City Tour Bus.  \n\n\n\nWithin easy walking distance:- Marienplatz\, the central square in the old town to see the legendary Glockenspiel and roam the Christmas Market \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOr take in the Neuschwanste Castle\, The Frauenkirche church\, The Viktualienmarkt\, Munich’s bustling food market\, The Alte Pinakothek art gallery\, The Hofbräuhaus or Mathäserhalle for the beer lovers \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWithin reasonable walking distance:- The Bavarian State Opera\, The Deutsches Museum\, The English Garden with the Chinese TowerA bit farther away:-  The BMW Museum\, Nymphenburg Palace\, Dachau concentration camp memorialDay trips:- Nuremberg\, Salzburg (Austria)\, Garmisch Partenkirchen and the BavarianAlps \n\n\n\nDay 5: A lazy morning followed by coach transfer to Munich airport for the return flight to Valencia at 3:10pm\, arriving at 5:35pm. Allowing for baggage collection we should be back in Moraira by 8:00pm \n\n\n\nYour trip leaders will be Ian & Eileen Brown\, who lived in Munich for three years and will be providing information on how best to get around on the U-Bahn (Underground)\, S-Bahn (Local overground railway) and trams\, as well as tips on the best specialities to eat and drink. As fluent German speakers we can also assist with purchases of tickets for events or tours. \n\n\n\nWhat’s included in the price \n\n\n\n€ 790 per person room only\, including flights\, transfers and basic travel insurance (for Spanish residents only) does not cover cancellation.
