Dance to Get Fit – Groups 1, 2 and 3

This group is proving popular so a new 3rd Group has been added for Beginners. Group 1 has restarted from Thurs 5th September, and Group 2 recommences from Thursday 19th September. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Danceathon for Comic Relief last Thursday.  I was very proud of the number of Moraira U3A ladies who came and how well you all danced.   We all had great fun and a fantastic amount of 340 euros was raised for the Red Nose Day charity.  

Frequency: Weekly:  Three groups – Monday (Beginners) at 9.00-10.00 Thursdays Group 1 – 10.30 – 11.30. Group 2 – 11.30 – 12.30

We now have two sessions on a Thursday, the first begins at 10.30 – 11.30 and the second following at 11.30am. A dance fitness workout (you don’t need a partner), and is designed for people who love to dance and want to keep fit, but for a variety of reasons, prefer a lighter intensity, lower impact and perhaps a slower pace.

It combines old-style dance genres such as the Bossa Nova and Foxtrot, to the Flamenco and the Argentine Tango.

The dance steps are easier to follow, enabling more participants to have fun getting fit, while learning classic dances of the ages. The classes are an hour long.
