CAPRICE – Love is here to stay

Following a very successful first season, Caprice ladies choir are delighted to announce their next concert, ‘Love is here to stay’ which will be performed on Thursday 26th October 2017 in the Salon Blau, Calpe in support of Calpe and Benissa Lions. The concert will be conducted by Aileen Lightfoot and accompanied on the piano by Kirsty Glen. The concert is being sponsored by Bar Grizzly’s, Calpe and El Toro, Calpe.

As usual the concert will include a variety of songs from musical theatre, including one of the choir’s regular favourites, the iconic ‘Tell me it’s not true’, and songs by Gershwin, including the theme song for the concert ‘Love is here to stay’. These, together with songs by the Carpenters and others such as ‘The Rose’, all linked by the theme of love in all its guises of hope, despair, joy and sorrow plus a little bit of quirkiness should offer something to appeal to everyone. As usual, the choir will be singing in three part harmony with solos and duets showcasing the talents of the individual singers.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets, priced at 10 euros are available from Margaret & Elena’s Card and Bookshop, Galerias Mar Azul, Gabriel Miro, Calpe, or from the Lions shop, Calle Pintor Sorolla 15, Calpe. Tickets can also be ordered by contacting musical director Aileen on 696 514 613 or by email at aileen@capriceladieschoir.com
